6. Configure SNMP with your site-specific information and enable SNMP for read-only (ro)

access by typing the following commands:

configure snmp community add

[community name]

ro en

configure snmp system name

[your system name]

configure snmp system contact

[your system contact]

configure snmp system location

[your system location]

Creating a Login Banner

SC-ADT is shipped from the factory with no Login banner. When you compose a Login banner, it
will appear at the start of every login sequence before the Authentication banner (local or
). A procedure for configuring the Login banner is provided after the figure.

For help in setting up the Login banner, type:

configure banner ?

•

To show current banner, if any, type:

show banner
