10.1

Potential malfunctions during operation

10.1.1 Power failure or defective motor

If this happens the load platform must be lowered to the ground by

releasing the motor brake.



The brake release lever (1) can

stick in the holder (2) on the motor

guard cover.

•

Take the brake release lever (1)

out of the mount (2) and screw

into the brake release thread (3).

•

Release motor brake by controlled

pulling on the brake release lever

(1). - Load platform slides

downwards.

If the brake is released too much then the load platform will build

up an excessive speed and the safety gear will engage! If the

safety gear has engaged once, it will not be possible to progress

any further without raising the platform. If this has happened, see

section 10.2.



Avoid overheating of the brake. Interrupt the lowering process for

2 minutes at the latest after every 1-2 meters. The length of a mast

section can be used for orientation.



On reaching the foot section, make sure that the trolley with

platform does not hit the ground.

Release the brake release lever in time!
