88775 – Coiled Cable Lanyard – 2lbs
88776 – Coiled Cable Lanyard – 5lbs
GEARWRENCH Coiled Cable Lanyards are only intended for use as part of a tethering system and use with tools meeting the
following specifications:
- Total tool weight under 2 lbs. 0.9kg for GEARWRENCH Part 88775
- Total tool weight under 5 lbs. 2.26kg for GEARWRENCH Part 88776
- Tool to be connected to Coiled Cable Lanyard must have a tether connection point, Coiled Cable Lanyards are not a one
step tethering system.
- Only use the swivel carabiner end to connect to the tool
Installation Instructions connecting tool to Coiled Cable Lanyard:
1. Ensure the Tool to be connected includes an integrated tether through hole or has a tether connection point added.
2. Use the carabiner with the swivel connection to the cable lanyard to connect to the tool with tether connection point
3. To unlock the carabiner, spin the knurled screw gate clockwise until the screw gate is loose
4. Once screw gate is loose push the screw gate forward and connect carbineer to tether point
5. After carabiner is connected screw the screw gate counter-clockwise until it is secure
6. Check the security of the connection the tether point and coiled cable lanyard prior to use.
WARNINGS:
- NEVER use GEARWRENCH coiled cable lanyards to connect anything over 2 lbs. 0.9kg for 88775
- Anything over 5 lbs. 2.6kg for 88776
- GEARWRENCH coiled cable lanyards are Not Personal Protective Equipment
- Always use GEARWRENCH coiled cable lanyards with the recommended length of tethering accessories
- Do not use GEARWRENCH coiled cable lanyards as part of a tethering system around moving or rotating equipment
- GEARWRENCH Coiled cable lanyards will not support human weight as part of a tether connection point
- Inspect GEARWRENCH coiled cable lanyards for wear before each use. Do not use if evidence of wear.
