Analysis Mode

This drop down list is used to select the vibration analysis method that will be used. The vibration analysis is
always carried out using a variant of the Fast Fourier Transform. The options are used to select whether an
envelope will be used in the analysis. The options are:

–

FFT

This option is used to select a normal Fast Fourier Transform.

–

H-FFT

This option is used to select a Fast Fourier Transform with an envelope.

Units

This drop down list is used to select the units that will be used for measuring vibration. The options are:

–

inches/s

This option is used when vibration should be measured in terms of velocity.

–

mg

This option is used when vibration should be measured in terms of acceleration.

3.

Frequency

This drop down list is used to select the units that will be used for measuring frequency. The options are:

–

CPM

This option is used when frequency should be measured in Cycles per minute.

–

Hz

This option is used when frequency should be measured in Hertz.
