11.3.1 Change air brake parts
Step 1: Remove wheels
Attention!
To lift this product, use a lifting device with a minimum lifting capacity
of 15 000 kg. The lifting capacity only includes the weight of the
product.
Attention!
To lift the wheels, use a lifting device with a minimum lifting capacity
of 500 kg.
● Connect the emergency line (red
hose). Do not apply air pressure in
the line.
● Attach safety chains to the spreader
lifting rings.
● Slowly lift the spreader to get
enough clearance to install support
stands (1) under the spreader.
● Remove wheel nuts with an air
impact gun.
● Remove the wheels and store it in a
safe area using a forklift truck.
● Do not lower the spreader to avoid
damaging the brake boosters.

Step 2: Remove dust shield
● Unscrew all nuts and locknuts of the
upper (1) and lower (2) dust shields.
● Remove flat washers, lock washers,
upper and lower dust shields.
● Reinstall parts.
