HOW TO VIEW THE ERROR LOG
Errors reported by the AWS software applications are recorded in a common system error log. This com-
mon system error log also contains error messages generated by the IDC and Gantry/Generator applica-
tions.
To view the error log content, right click the AWS Screen background; select
Service Tools/Service
Desktop/Error Log
from the drop-down menu.

Reset IDC and/or restart the Browser (see

Senographe subsystem
Check that Senographe is on.
Check cable connection between AWS and Generator.
Change Generator Interface Board or change AWS.

Communication problem with
external network
Check network cable connection.
Check/change network hub.

Communication problem with
UPS
Check cable connection between AWS and UPS.
Try to restart the system.
On V3 or V4 Control Stations (U20 or Z400) additionally try add-
ing DB9 Adaptors to the DB9 sockets on the ADS rear panel (see
Job Card TSG A012 - Use of DB9 Adaptors to Reduce Intermit-
tent IDC or ADS Communication Errors
Change UPS or AWS.

Battery low or discharged
Charge UPS battery (press the Control Station "on" switch on
Generator Cabinet, wait approx. 45 minutes).
Change UPS if necessary.

Failure accessing hardware
key
Check HW key validity and integrity.
Check HW key serial port on AWS.
On V3 or V4 Control Stations (U20 or Z400) additionally try add-
ing DB9 Adaptors to the DB9 sockets on the ADS rear panel (see
Job Card TSG A012 - Use of DB9 Adaptors to Reduce Intermit-
tent IDC or ADS Communication Errors
Change HW key or AWS.

DICOM communication prob-
lem with worklist provider
The DICOM worklist provider is not DICOM compliant.
Check the DICOM compatibility with hospital network administra-
tor.
Check the DICOM worklist provider declaration parameters.

Wrong value received from X
Generator
Check AWS and generator releases; if not compatible, upgrade
system.
