Gas filling
Check that the Transport pressure gauge has been removed and properly stored for
future use)

Remove the Transport pressure gauge before
filling the bushing.
Check the filling gas parameters of the bottles from gas certificates and by quality tests
performed on the single bottle
Fill the Gas Check list
Do not fill with gas if gas is not OK.
Connect the gas hose to the bushing DILO type valve.

Start filling operation.
Stop at 0.2 MPa abs (1 bar gauge)

Check for leakage with the gas leak-meter device.
Check all bushing flanges and connections
and also all the gas filling station (if included)
Contact GE Energy Connections RPV.
Increase the gas pressure until the Tripping contacts operates (0.52 MPa abs).
Check the remote reading of the gas pressure sensor
Gas pressure (B3/B4)=______/_____MPa abs
Remote pressure: ________________MPa bs
NO OK:
1) Check the wiring.
2) Reduce the gas pressure and repeat the
full test sequence.
3) Inform GE Energy Connections RPV
Increase the gas pressure until Alarm 2 contact operates (0.55 MPa abs).
Check the remote reading of the gas pressure sensor

Remove all plastic protective foils from both composite insulators when the bushing is
installed and the transformer is inside the valve room.
