Replacing the Printer Assembly

Use the procedures in this section to replace the printer assembly.

Removing the Printer Assembly

1.

Separate the middle plastic and base plastic assemblies as described in

“Replacing the Power Supply Assembly” on page 72

2.

Using the following illustration, identify the printer (1).

3.

Using the side cutter pliers, snip the tie wrap (2) that holds the printer cable
harness to the base plastic (3).

4.

Disconnect the gray USB cable from the printer board.

5.

Using a small, flat blade screw driver, pull the release tabs on each side of the
connector to disconnect the queue sensor ribbon cable from the printer board,
as shown in the following illustration.
