MAC™ 1600

Maintenance

For details, refer to 

“Replacing the Battery” 

on page 10-12.

2. Disconnect the AC mains power from the MAC 1600 unit. 

3. Enter the 

Battery Status Service Diagnostic

 window. 

4. Allow the battery to discharge until its 

Charge Level

 is less than 

90%. 

5. Turn off the unit and reconnect the AC mains power.

6. Allow the battery to fully charge. 

The 

Battery LED

 will be solid amber while it is charging and turn 

off when charging is complete.   

7. Remove the AC mains power and turn on the MAC 1600 unit. 

8. Allow the battery to discharge until MAC 1600 unit shuts down.   

9. Reconnect the AC mains power to the MAC 1600 unit and leave the 

unit turned off. 

10. Allow the battery to fully charge.   

When the 

Battery LED

 indicator stops flashing and turns solid, the 

battery is fully charged and the conditioning cycle is complete.
