7.1.15

Replacing the Bed Base Assembly (FRU Kit No. 2043949-001)

Instructions to replace Bed Base Assembly:

Dismantle the bed base assembly. Refer to 6.1, Dismantling Base and Bed

Place the new bed base on the Bed tilt mechanism.

Fasten M8 Nyloc Nuts (Qty 4). Replace the bedside panels, mattress, clear Plexiglas plate
and X-ray tray on the bed assembly. Refer to the warmer installation procedure.

7.1.16

Replacing the Front and Rear Covers of Height Skirt (Part of FRU Kit

No. 2043952-001)

Instructions to replace the Front and Rear Covers of height Skirt:

Unscrew rear cover screw and washers. Refer to section 6.4, dismantling base to leg

Disengage the snap of covers.

Replace with new cover.

Secure rear cover with screw and washers.

Replacing the Castors (FRU Kit No. 2043945-001) and Leg Cap (Part

of FRU Kit No. 2043952-001)

NOTE: The castors may be replaced with the Lullaby

Warmer upright or carefully placed on its back.

and Leg Cap

Tools required:

M12 box spanner

Instructions to replace Castors and Leg Cap:

Lock all the castors except the one that has to be
replaced.

Lift the castor off the floor and use blocks to
support the leg near the castor you are replacing.

Remove the screw caps to unscrew the leg cap
screws (Qty 2) and disengage leg cap.

Unscrew Nyloc nut and washer to remove castor.

Replace new castor and place the washer and
nut; secure the castor to the leg by tightening the
screw.

Follow the instructions below to replace the leg

cap:

Hold the leg cap firmly in place.

Fix a screw cap and a screw on one side of the
leg and fasten it till a hole is punched in the cap.
Do not tighten the screw fully.

Fix the screw cap and the screw on the other
side and fasten it.

Go back and fasten the screw that you fixed first.

Repeat the steps for the rest of the castors.

Note 1

: Castors should be replaced with

corresponding with/without brake castors.

Note

: Ensure that the castors with brakes are

fixed to the rear end of the leg assembly.
