Care and Maintenance
Inspecting probes
Inspect the probe’s lens, cable, and casing after each
use. Look for any damage that would allow liquid to
enter the probe. If any damage is found, do not use the
probe until it has been inspected and repaired/replaced
by a GE Service Representative.
Keep a log of all probe maintenance, along with a picture
of any probe malfunction.
Storing probes
After scanning and cleaning of the probe is completed,
put the probe in its carrying case to ensure safe storage.
Transporting probes
Secure the probe in its holder for moving short distances.
When transporting a probe for a long distance store it in
its carrying case.
Environmental Requirements
Probes should be operated, stored or transported within
the parameters outlined below.
