The battery must be replaced when its voltage is too low (battery Low or Low-Low alarm).
To remove the battery, proceed as follows:
Note: Step 1 below can be skipped if the H201Ti was never put in service and if the
H201Ti’s default parameter values have not been changed.
1. Because the historic data and most H201T i ’s parameters (alarm set points, etc.) are
lost when the battery is disconnected, they must all be recorded. There are two
methods:
• Use the Hydran Host software. For connection details, see Chapter 9; for details on the
software, see the Hydran Host Software Manual .
– Historic data are transferred automatically as soon as the communication is established
between the software and the H201T i . The Histo Download in Progress... message
remains displayed in the lower right corner of the Hydran Host Network Survey
window during the transfer.
– Use the Global Config window to transfer the H201T i ’s adjustable parameters (see
the Hydran Host Software Manual ).
– Finally, note manually all parameters in the H201T i ’s Communication submenu.
These parameters are the only ones that cannot be accessed from the Hydran Host
software.
• If the Hydran Host software cannot be used, note manually the content in the four files
of historic data (for details, see Section 4.5.1 on page 4-12) and the values of all
H201T i ’s adjustable parameters. This method is more difficult and can be source of
errors.
