Detector Association
10.1 Detector Firmware Download
Go to XR118 SUIF / Utilities/Subsystem Software/Det Data Download, download detector firmware.
Note: This step must be performed once a new detector is used for this system.
10.1.1 Pre-Requisites:
• If the detector is associated, de-associate the same before starting Firmware Download.
• Detector should be connected to the PoE port on the Workstation dock using the service cable.
10.1.2 Instruction:
1.) Power off the detector and remove the battery.
2.) If any device is connected to the PoE port on the Workstation dock, unplug it.
3.) Insert one end of the service cable in the detector service port and the other end at the PoE
port on the Workstation dock.
4.) Insert battery in the detector.
5.) Wait for the detector's LED to turn green, then red, at last green again.
6.) In order to refresh physical link state in detector, unplug and then plug in the service cable
which is connected to the dock PoE port.
7.) Ping detector’s IP address 3.1.1.30 to check if connection is OK.
8.) Once the above steps are complete, press the [ENABLE] button.
If firmware download failed, please unplug/plug the cable again or restart the workstation, and
then re-click the [Enable] button.
Once the firmware download process is started, it should not be aborted.
