Due to phase shift in the system, the apparent power value is significantly higher than the active
power. Individual phases demand up to 20 A for an active system. Initial peaks (duration of milli-
seconds) exceeding 32 A exist when turning the system on.
In power supply systems with a Residual-Current Device (RCDs), the RDC should have a break-
ing current of 300 mA.
