Final preparations before a run

Precautions

WARNING

•

Hazardous substances and biological agents. When using
hazardous chemical and biological agents, take all suitable
protective measures, such as wearing protective glasses and
gloves resistant to the substances used. Follow local and/or
national regulations for safe operation and maintenance of
ÄKTA ready.

•

Corrosive substance. NaOH is corrosive and therefore danger-
ous to health. When using hazardous chemicals, avoid spillage
and wear protective glasses and other suitable Personal Pro-
tective Equipment (PPE).

CAUTION

Do not use chemicals at temperatures above the specified limits.
