Each device has a serial number that uniquely identifies and at the same time
provides important information about the device.
The following chart shows the serial number format:

A two-digit code representing the year of
device fabrication. Values between 00 and
99. For example, 13 = 2013

A five-digit code that represents the
sequence of production of the devices
