RECOMMENDED INDICATIONS
1. Restoration of Class
III
,
V
and limited Class
I
cavities.
2. Restoration of primary teeth.
3. Core build up.
4. Cases where a radiopaque restoration is required.
5. Geriatric applications.
6. As a base or liner.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
1. Pulp capping.
2. In rare cases the product may cause sensitivity in
some people. If any such reactions are experienced,
discontinue the use of the product and refer to a
physician.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
1. CAVITY PREPARATION
a) Prepare tooth using standard techniques.
Extensive mechanical retention is not necessary.
For pulp capping, use calcium hydroxide.
b) Wash and dry but DO NOT DESICCATE.
GC CAVITY CONDITIONER
is recommended to remove the
smear layer (Fig. 1).
2. CAPSULE ACTIVATION AND MIXING
a) Before activation, shake the capsule or tap its
side on a hard surface to loosen the powder
(Fig. 2).
b) To activate the capsule, push the plunger until it
is flush with main body (Fig. 3).
c) Immediately place the capsule into a metal
GC Capsule Applier and click the lever once
(Fig. 4). The capsule is now activated.
Note :
The capsule should be activated just before
mixing and used immediately.
d) Immediately remove the capsule and set it into a
mixer (an amalgamator) and mix for 10 seconds
at high speed (+/-4,000 RPM) (Fig. 5).
3. RESTORATIVE TECHNIQUE
a) Immediately remove the mixed capsule from the
mixer and load it into the GC Capsule Applier.
b)
Click twice
to prime the capsule then
syringe (Fig. 6).
The working time is 3 minute
s
15 seconds from
start of mixing at 23°C (73.4°F). Higher
temperatures will shorten working time.
Note :
1) To adjust the direction of the nozzle, hold the
applier with the capsule towards you and turn
the capsule body.
2) To remove the used capsule, push the applier
release button. Twist the capsule and pull
upwards.
c) Remove surface moisture but DO NOT
DESICCATE.
d) Extrude cement directly into preparation (Fig.7).
Avoid air bubbles.
e) Form the contour and place a matrix if required.
f) Light-cure for 20 seconds using a suitable visible
light curing device (470nm wavelength) (Fig. 8).
Place light source as
close
as possible to the
cement surface.
Note :
For cavities deeper than 1.8 mm, use a layering
technique.
4. FINISHING
Finish under water spray using superfine diamond
bur, silicone point and polishing strips (Fig. 9).
Note :
Apply a final coat of GC Fuji VARNISH (blow dry)
or GC Fuji COAT LC (light cure for 10 sec.) or
G-COAT PLUS (light cure for 20 sec.)(Fig. 10).
STORAGE
Store in a cool and dark place (4-25°C / 39.2-77.0°F).

CAUTION
1. In case of contact with oral tissue or skin, remove
immediately with a sponge or cotton soaked in
alcohol. Flush with water.
2. In case of contact with eyes, flush immediately with
water and seek medical attention.

radiopaca.
5. Aplicaciones geriátricas.
6. Como base o recubrimiento.
CONTRAINDICACIONES
1. Recubrimiento pulpar.
2. En raros casos el producto puede causar
sensibilidad en algunas personas, si se
experimenta alguna reacción al respecto,
suspenda el uso del producto y diríjase al médico.
INSTRUCCIONES DE USO
1. PREPARACIÓN DE LA CAVIDAD
a) Prepare el diente de la manera habitual. No es
necesaria una retención mecánica profunda.
Para recubrimiento pulpar, use Hidróxido de
Calcio.
b) Lave y seque pero NO DESEQUE. Se
recomienda usar GC CAVITY
CONDITIONER para eliminar el
barrillo dentinario (Fig. 1).
2. ACTIVACIÓN DE LA CÁPSULA Y MEZCLADO
a) Antes de activar, agite la cápsula o golpéela
sobre una superficie dura para desapelmazar el
polvo (Fig. 2).
b) Para activar la cápsula, empuje el émbolo hasta
que alcance el nivel del cuerpo principal (Fig. 3)
c) Coloque inmediatamente la cápsula en el
GC Capsule Applier y haga click una vez con la
palanca (Fig. 4). Ahora la cápsula está activada.
Nota:
La cápsula debe activarse justo antes de la
mezcla y debe ser utilizada inmediatamente.
d) Seguidamente, retire la cápsula, colóquela en el
mezclador (o amalgamador) y mezcle durante
10 segundos a alta velocidad (+/-4.000 RPM)
(Fig. 5).
3. TÉCNICA DE RESTAURACIÓN
a) Retire inmediatamente la cápsula mezclada del
mezclador y colóquela en el GC Capsule Applier.
b) Haga dos clicks para preparar la cápsula y
aplique (Fig. 6). El tiempo de trabajo es de
3 minutos 15 segundos desde el comienzo de la
mezcla a 23°C (73,4°F). Temperaturas más altas
acortarán el tiempo de trabajo.
Nota:
1) Para ajustar la dirección de la boquilla,
mantenga la cápsula en el aplicador mientras
la hace girar.
2) Para retirar la cápsula utilizada, pulse el botón
de liberación del aplicador, hágala girar y tire
de ella hacia afuera.
c) Elimine el exceso de humedad pero NO
DESEQUE.
d) Dispense el cemento directamente en la
cavidad (Fig. 7). Evite burbujas de aire.
e) Contornee y coloque una matriz si es necesario.
f) Fotopolimerice durante 20 segundos utilizando
un aparato de fotopolimerización de luz visible
(470nm de longitud de onda) (Fig. 8). Coloque
la lámpara tan cerca
a la superficie del cemento
como sea posible
.
Nota:
Para cavidades más profundas de 1,8 mm,
utilice la técnica de capas.
4. ACABADO
Lleve a cabo el acabado bajo spray de agua
usando una fresa de diamante superfina, punta de
silicona o tiras de pulir. (Fig. 9).
Nota:
Aplicar la capa final de GC Fuji VARNISH (soplar
en seco) o GC Fuji COAT LC (fotocurar durante
10 s.) o G-COAT PLUS (fotocurar durante 20 s.)
(Fig. 10).
ALMACENAMIENTO
Conserve en un lugar fresco y seco (4-25°C /
39,2-77,0°F). (Caducidad: 2 años desde la fecha de
fabricación).

PRECAUCIONES
1. En caso de contacto con el tejido oral o la piel,
elimine inmediatamente con una esponja o
algodón empapado en alcohol. Aclare con agua.
2. En caso de contacto con los ojos, aclare
inmediatamente con agua y solicite asistencia
médica.
