Using S/PDIF digital audio

To listen to your notebook on a stereo system using the S/PDIF digital audio
jack, you must activate S/PDIF.

To activate S/PDIF digital audio:

Plug the Toslink digital audio cable into the S/PDIF digital audio jack on
the back of your optional port replicator.

Plug the other end of the Toslink cable into your stereo receiver.

Important

If the menu bar does not appear, click the show menu
bar

button.
