Replacing the hard drive kit

Replacing the hard drive kit

If you would like more hard drive capacity, you can replace your original drive 
with a higher-capacity drive from Gateway. To replace the drive, follow the 
instructions below.

To replace the hard drive kit:

1

Shut down your notebook and disconnect the AC power.

2

Close the LCD panel and turn the notebook over.

3

Remove the two screws that secure the hard drive kit to the notebook.
