Mount the Y724 in the vehicle's cabin area where there is environmental control (i.e.
heating and/or air-conditioning).
The fan (located under the Y724) must have unobstructed airflow to enable proper
cooling. Allow at least 6" of clearance to allow for effective cooling.
Secure the Y724 to interior surfaces using the Tek Screws provided for mounting.
All cables running through holes in sheet metal (ceiling, bulkhead, etc.) must be
protected with grommets.
Ensure that the device is mounted where it is not easily accessible by non-authorized
personnel.
DO NOT orient the device such that the drive caddy handle faces the floor of the
vehicle.
DO NOT disassemble the device. There are no user serviceable parts inside, and
removing the cover of the Y724 will void the device's warranty.
