2.2 - Control Panel functions:
Freezer mode (all models)
Your refrigerator has one control for adjusting the temperature. The temperature control is the knob right end of the
control panel (no. 6).
The
fi
rst time you turn the unit on, turn the temperature control knob a clockwise direction to the maximum setting "7" and
keep it running for at least 4 hours before putting frozen food inside. This will ensure that the cabinet is thoroughly chilled
before food is put in, thus preventing any temperature loss in the frozen food.
The range of the temperature control is from position "1" (the warmest) to "7" (the coldest).
Adjust the temperature control to the setting that best suits your needs. The setting "4" should be correct for normal
everyday use.
To turn the refrigerator off, turn the temperature control to the position "0".
Refrigerator mode (only model AK280CD and AK460CD)
Turn the temperature control knob in position "1" to set a temperature between 0 and 8 ° C.
NOTE:
•
Turning the temperature control knob to "0" position stops the cooling cycle, but does not cuts off the power to the
refrigerator.
•
lf the unit is unplugged, in case of a power shortage or if it is turned off; you must wait 3 to 5 minutes before
restarting the unit. If you attempt to restart it before this delay, the refrigerator will not start.
•
Large amounts of food will lower the cooling efficiency of the appliance.
•
If you choose to change the thermostat setting, adjust thermostat control by one numerical increment at a time.
Allow several hours for the temperature to stabilize between adjustments.
2.3 - Temperature Adjustment / Operation
Freezer mode (all models)
The appliance temperature is adjusted by turning the thermostat on the Control Panel.
The thermostat should be adjusted according to different environment temperature and the quantity of food being stored
by adjusting the knob of the thermostat.
The knob rotates clockwise from "1" (warmest temperature) to "7" (coldest temperature).
The setting "4" should be correct for normal everyday use.
If a large amount of fresh food is placed in the appliance for freezing, the thermostat should be turned up (clockwise) for a
period of 4-6 hours, after this period it should be returned to its initial setting.
Refrigerator mode (only model AK280CD and AK460CD)
Turn the temperature control knob in position "1" to set a temperature between 0 and 8 ° C.
The green lamp (Nr. 8) indicates the power presence. When the appliance is connected to the power socket, the lamp will
be on.
If the appliance is disconnected from the electricity, wait for at least 5 minutes before plugging in again the appliance, to
avoid damaging the compressor.
The red light (Nr. 10) is a alarm light. The lamp will be on when the temperature inside the appliance does not match the
setting (example, the

rst time you turn on the appliance
or when adjusting a temperature much colder.
