BEFORE USE
The instrument should be checked before setting out for
site to ensure that it is operational.
The detailed check procedures are given later in the
manual, but a short summary is given below.
•
Check BATTERIES have sufficient life left in them
for your intended usage.
•
Check ZERO on instrument in clean air.
•
Check instrument has correct CALIBRATION for
your usage.
•
Check instrument has no obvious FAULT condi-
tions.
•
Check CALIBRATION is still valid.
•
Check ACCESSORIES.
•
Instrument supplied with the following as standard:
- Carrying case
- Handbook
- Instruction Card
- Battery compartment key
- Probe handle complete with 1.5 metres sampling
line, cotton filter and integral hydrophobic filter.
- Long probe extension
- Short probe extension
- Carrying strap
- Aspirator bulb

Waistband harness available as an accessory).
