Install this kit to flush mount a GPSMAP 600 series device into a flat panel.
Caution:
Always wear safety goggles and a dust mask when drilling, cutting, or sanding.

Selecting a Location
When selecting a location for the GPSMAP 600 series flush mount kit, consider the following:
Use the flush-mount template provided to determine an appropriately sized location for the housing.
Ensure that all cables reach the unit mounting location.
Ensure that the surface on which you install the housing has at least 3

in. (89 mm) of open space behind it to fit the housing and the
connected wires.
Ensure that you have a direct path to the floor behind the housing to install a drain hose.
Install the housing at least 17 in. (43 cm) away from a magnetic compass to prevent electromagnetic interference, which can cause
inaccurate compass readings.
The location should not be exposed to extreme temperature conditions. See the specifications section in the owner’s manual of your
GPSMAP 600 series device to determine the safe temperature range for your device.
