Approach with Hold
NOTE: If you need to lose extra altitude or speed
by going around the holding pattern again, press
OBS
to manually suspend waypoint sequencing
BEFORE crossing the holding waypoint the second
time. If you’ve already passed this waypoint, re-
activate the holding pattern.
11. Also as you approach BODRY ntersecton, a
waypont alert (”NEXT DTK 209°”) wll appear
n the lower rght corner of the screen.
12. When wthn 45° of the final approach course
and the FAF s the TO waypont. CDI scalng s
tghtened from 1.0 NM full scale deflecton to
ether 0.3 nautcal mle or 2° full scale deflec-
ton whchever s less at the FAF. The change
occurs over 2 NM and s completed by the
FAF.
13. As you approach the FAF, a waypont alert
n the lower rght corner (“NEXT DTK 209°”)
wll appear. Make any course adjustments
necessary for the final course segment (FAF
to MAP).
14. As you cross the FAF, the destnaton sequences
to the MAP (“RW21”, the runway threshold).
Wth the needle centered, fly toward the MAP,
observng the alttude mnmums dctated by
the approach plate. (When vewng the map
page, you’ll note that the final course segment
s dsplayed n magenta—the actve leg of the
flght plan always appears n magenta—and
a dashed lne extends the course beyond the
MAP. Do NOT follow ths extended course.
Instead, follow publshed mssed approach
procedures.)

15. As you approach the MAP, a waypont alert
(“ARRIVING WPT”) wll appear n the lower rght
corner. CDI scalng contnues to tghten from
0.3 NM to 350 feet, full-scale deflecton.
