Cancelling a direct-to:
1)

Press the

Key to display the ‘Direct To’ Window.

With ‘Cancel Direct-To NAV’ highlighted, press the

the system resumes navigating the flight plan along the closest leg.

CREaTING a FLIGHT PLaN

Creating an active flight plan:
1)

Press the

FPL

Key. Press the small

FMS

Knob to activate the cursor (only on MFD).

Select the origin airport and runway (as required).

Highlight the field below the Origin header to enter the origin airport identifier using
the

FMS

Knob.

Use the

FMS

Knob or the waypoint submenu to enter the identifier, facility, or city

name of the origin waypoint.

Press the

ENT

Key. The ‘Set Airport and Runway’ Window is displayed with the

‘Runway’ Field highlighted.

Turn the small

FMS

Knob to select the runway, and press the

ENT

Key.

Press the

ENT

Key again to add the origin airport/runway to the flight plan.

Repeat step number 2 for the destination airport and runway.

Select the enroute waypoints.

Highlight the location to insert the waypoint using the

FMS

Knob (If the enroute

header is selected, the new waypoint is placed following the header. If an enroute
waypoint or the dashes are selected, the new waypoint will be placed ahead of the
selected item).
