MaP RaNGE
Configuring automatic zoom:
1)
Press the MENU Key with the ‘Map - Navigation Map’ Page displayed. The cursor flashes
on the ‘Map Settings’ option.
2) Press the ENT Key. The ‘Map Settings’ Menu is displayed.
3)
Turn the small
FMS
Knob to select the ‘Map’ group.
4) Press the ENT Key.
5) Turn the large FMS Knob to highlight the ‘Auto Zoom’ On/Off Field, and select ‘Off’ or
‘On’ using the small FMS Knob.
6) Press the ENT Key to accept the selected option. The flashing cursor highlights the ‘Auto
Zoom’ display selection Field.
7)
Select ‘MFD’, ‘PFD’, or ‘All’ using the small
FMS
Knob.
8) Press the ENT Key to accept the selected option. The flashing cursor highlights the ‘Max
Look FWD’ Field. Times are from zero to 999 minutes.
9) Use the FMS Knobs to set the time. Press the ENT Key.
10) Repeat step 9 for ‘Min Look FWD’ (zero to 99 minutes) and ‘Time Out’ (zero to 99
minutes).

Press the
FMS
Knob to return to the ‘Map - Navigation Map’ Page.
MaP PaNNING
Panning the map:
1)
Push the
Joystick
to display the Map Pointer.
2) Move the Joystick to move the Map Pointer around the map.
3) Push the Joystick to remove the Map Pointer and recenter the map on the aircraft’s
current position.
Reviewing information for an airport, NaVaId, or user waypoint:
1)
With the desired map page displayed on the MFD, push the Joystick to display the Map
Pointer and place the Map Pointer on a waypoint.
2) Press the ENT Key to display the ‘WPT - <Waypoint> Information’ Page for the selected
waypoint.
3)
Press the
Go Back
Softkey, the
CLR
Key, or the
ENT
Key to return to the ‘Map -
Navigation Map’ Page showing the selected waypoint.
