Registering Your Fusion Device

Help us better support you by completing our online registration today.
• Go to

garmin.com/account/register/

• Keep the original sales receipt, or a photocopy, in a safe place.

Cleaning the Device

1 Dampen a soft, clean, lint-free cloth with fresh water.
2 Gently wipe the device.

Software Updates

For best results, you should update the software in all Fusion devices regularly.
If the device is connected to a Fusion PartyBus network with a Wi‑Fi router, you can also update the software
using the Fusion-Link remote control app on your compatible Apple or Android device.

Updating the Software Using a USB Flash Drive

You can update the device software using a USB flash drive.

NOTICE

Do not turn off the device or disconnect the power during a software update. Turning off the power during a
software update may cause the device to become unresponsive.

NOTE:
• You cannot update the software using a USB flash drive formatted using the NTFS file system. If you

encounter problems updating the device, format the USB flash drive using FAT32 and try the update process
again.

• The device may restart a few times while updating the software. This is expected behavior.
• You can program only newer versions of software on the device.
1 Go to the page for your device on

support.garmin.com

, and download the update file.

2 Extract the contents of the .zip file to the root of your USB storage device.

The contents of the software update are contained in a folder named Garmin.

3 Insert the USB storage device into the USB port of the stereo.
4 Select

> SETTINGS.

5 Select the name of the stereo.
6 Select UPDATE > STEREO > YES.

The LED flashes four times and repeats while the software update is in progress.
