OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

For all folding backstops, only trained personnel should operate the units.

Keep the areas below and around the units clear at all times while the unit is in motion

Always use the equipment in the manner intended.  The manufacturer does not assume any liability
for improperly used or improperly maintained equipment.

For manual winch operation, insert the winch crank handle onto the stub shaft of the winch and turn
the crank to raise or lower the backstop.

For electric hoists with key switch operation, turn the key switch to either up or down to raise or
lower the backstop.  Always watch the unit while in motion to make sure it is operating smoothly and
there are no obstacles or personnel in the way of the unit.

When the unit is controlled by a key pad controller, refer to the instructions supplied with the
controller to operate the backstop.
