5.4 STOPPING

Stop compressor by depressing stop button on motor control panel. Turn off cooling water flow if no
automatic water valve or water pump is fitted. The machine will automatically unload via unloader
system.

5.5 STANDING IDLE

The unloaders will automatically be left open.

For ambient temperatures below 0°C protect machine by draining off cooling water system, unless
protected by anti-freeze.

After one week standing idle, turn the machine over by hand before starting to ensure it turns freely.

If the compressor is to stand idle for more than four weeks or shorter period if ambient conditions are
unfavourable, it is advised to consult Gardner Denver Ltd for correct inhibition procedure.
