3. Check the filter element.
– Replace the filter element if it is heavily con-
taminated.
4. Shut enclosure.

Operation of the compressor without air filters,
even briefly, can result in considerable damage
to the compressor.

Never operate the compressor without an
air filter.

No dirt must get into the clean air side of the
air filter!
1. Switch the main switch OFF.
2. Open the enclosure, create access.
3. Release pressing frame.
4. Change the filter element.
5. Attach pressing frame (hexagon screw tighten-
ing torque
< = 8 Nm / 71 ft-lbs
)
6. Shut enclosure.

Damage due to static charging

When replacing the protective cap of the
moisture sensor, electronic components
are uncovered. These components may be
damaged by contact.
The moisture sensor protective cap must be re-
placed every 4000 operating hours. If the safety
valve on the pressure vessel should open, the pro-
tective cap should likewise be replaced.
