5.4 Check lubricating oil
a) Check the lubricating oil level through the oil sight glass (Fig. 2/I, I

, 3/I, I

) and refill, if necessary.
b) Fill lubricating oil for the gear wheels and bearings in the oil filling point (Fig. 2/H) up to the medium level
displayed on the sight glasses (Fig. 2/I).
Oil change and suitable types: see chapter 7.4.2 “Oil change” on page 35
c) Close the oil filling point.
5.5 Electrical connection
DANGER
Danger to life if the electrical installation has not been carried out profes-
sionally!
Installation that has not been carried out professionally or properly can cause
serious injuries or death. The whole electrical system can be destructed.
Ø
The electrical installation must only be carried out by a qualified electrician
observing EN 60204.
Ø
The main switch has to be provided by the user.
Ø
Connect all the metal parts to the earth.
Ø
Install the earthing in accordance with the circuit diagrams and check it for
functioning.
Ø
Protect the feed lines from excess current and excess voltage, e.g. by install-
ing circuit breakers.
Ø
For this purpose, also observe the operating instructions of the frequency
converter.
No neutral conductor is required for the termination of the frequency converter.
Please find further information on the correct connection in the circuit diagrams and the operating
instructions that come with the frequency converter.
