 Assembly

Step 1.

Remove the Pot from the Base by lifting it up.

Step 2.

Insert the Drainage Tube by pushing it onto the opening at the bottom of the Pot.

Place the Hose Clamp around the base of the Drainage Tube and tighten it into place.

Step 3.

Notice how the LED Light Ring has adhesive pads on the bottom of its feet.

Remove the plastic covers to expose the sticky sides and place the ring over the drain
hole at the bottom of the Base (Figure 1). Slide the Female Connector through the hole in the bottom of the Base.

Step 4.

Connect the Female Connector to the Solar Panel.

Important:

Carefully align the notch on the female connector to the

matching ridge on the male connector. The four pins must align with the corresponding holes to avoid damaging the connector.

Step 5.

Screw on the attached connector cover to firmly secure the connection.

Step 6.

Reassemble the planter by inserting the Pot back into the Base.

Important:

The Drainage Tube must be aligned with the

drainage hole at the bottom of the Base to ensure proper drainage (Figure 2). Insert the Pot Grid into the Pot to cover the drain
hole (not shown).

Step 7.

Place the Planter in your desired location before adding soil and planting in it. We recommend using our Potting Mix.

Important:

The Solar Panel must be installed in a location that receives maximum daylight. The brighter and longer the sun

exposure, the longer the lights will remain lit at night. When the NiMH battery is fully charged from the Solar Panel, the lights should
remain illuminated for 5 to 8 hours.

The Solar Panel contains a light sensor that switches the lights on automatically at dusk. Avoid

placing the Solar Panel near night-time light sources, such as street or porch lights, which may
prevent the LEDs from illuminating. The cord allows the Solar Panel to be located up to 11' from the
Planter.

Step 8.

After locating the best place for the

Solar Panel, as described above, push the
Ground Stake into the ground. Loosen
the soil, if necessary. Slide the Solar Panel
onto the Ground Stake.
