
LIGHT TIMER
The LIGHT TIMER controls either lighting systems
with a trigger cord or standard and electronic
ballasts ( two 600W or one 1000W at
120V).
ON Cycles (Day cycles) last 12 or 18 hours, as se-
lected by the user. An internal rechargeable battery
maintains the cycles in the event of a power outage.
Setting the ON/OFF TIMES
12h/12h
:
Slide the Switch to
12h/12h
to set the ON-Time to
12 hours and the OFF-Time to 12 hours.
18h/6h
:
Slide the Switch to
18h/6h
to set the ON-Time to
18 hours and the OFF-Time to 6 hours.
Resetting the ON-Cycle (Day Cycle)
Reset Cycle
:
Slide and hold the selector in MIDDLE POSITION
to start a new ON-cycle (i.e. to start the beginning
of a new day cycle). Once the RESET is completed,
select either
18h/6h
or
12h/12h.
Should you for-
get the selector in the RESET position, the timer
will use the most
previous time setting (18h/6h
or 12h/12h, as selected before resetting the ON-
cycle).
STATUS Indicator during Normal Operation
HOT START: 1 short BLINK every 3 seconds
Indicates the controller has returned from a power outage and
is now counting down the 20-min delay to prevent
Hot Start
.
Delay can be stopped by switching to RESET momentarily and
then switching back to 18h/6h or 12h/12h.
PULSE:
Indicates the remaining time (number of hours left in the
current ON or OFF-cycle). See details on the back of this page.
STATUS Indicator while Resetting an ON-Cycle
SLOW FLASHING:
1 second. ON / 1 second OFF for 30 seconds.
Indicates the 30-second countdown before RESET. If Slide Switch
is returned to either 12h/12h or 18h/6h before the end of the
30-second countdown., the RESET will NOT occur.
STEADY
:
Indicates the RESET has been completed and a new ON-cycle has
just started. User must select the ON/OFF Times by
sliding the
switch to either 12h/12h or 18h/6h.
QUICK FLASHING
:
4 blinks per second
Warning! ON/OFF TIMES selection has not been completed. The
selector has been forgotten in RESET position. Select either
18h/6h or 12h/12h.
