FUNCTIONING OF THE AFER-SALES SERVICE
Dear Client,
In spite of the considerable care that has gone into the manufacture of your yacht, a repair
may perhaps be necessary one day.
In such an event, we would be grateful if you would take the following steps in order that we
can deal with your request as effectively as possible.
Prior to any request for repair
Garcia Yachting recommends that you check the source of the breakdown. Malfunctions are
often caused by external factors (connections, fuses, closed seacock, flat battery…).
Garcia Yachting reserves the right to invoice the inherent costs for an unjustified intervention,
even during the period of guarantee.
Any attempt at repair by an external third party without the prior agreement of Garcia
Yachting leads to the nullity of the guarantee and/ or may lead to a refusal to repair outside
the guarantee or greatly increase the cost.
Repair request
In order to be dealt with, the repair request must be formulated in writing and sent to one of
the following addresses;

It must comprise the following information (see following form page);
Yacht’s HIN No. (appearing in chapter 2.1. of the present manual).

In a time limit of 10 working days after we have acknowledged receipt of your request, we will
get in contact with you in order to gather any further information possible and plan, where
necessary, the repair.
Specific cases
Some manufacturers of equipment have developed a worldwide network of support and
treatment of warranty claims. This mainly concerns Volvo penta, Ficher Panda, B&G,
Raymarine, Furuno … For these materials, the owner will therefore apply direct to the network
of representatives of these manufacturers, by following the instructions on the websites of the
manufacturers.
