4.10.2 Uploading a configuration change

BCM and LCM Configurations (L322-02, L322-06)
If a configuration change is made, it will take effect when the user returns to the list of ECUs or when
the configuration is changed. When the butto
n is pressed or when certain settings are changed, the
message “ Configurations changed, apply to the vehicle? + to continue, - to cancel ” will be displayed.
If no changes were made, the IIDTool returns to the ECUs list.

Car Configuration File
If a modification of the CCF has been made, it will be applied to the vehicle when the user exits
the configuration menu. By pressing
the button the user can decide to update the CCF with the
changes. The following message appears: “ Configurations changed, apply to the vehicle? + to conti
-
nue, - to cancel ”. If no changes were made, the IIDTool return to the menu.

Simply select “Upload Changes” and follow instructions on screen.
Steps
When updating the CCF, the IIDTool will prompt you with instructions to follow:
• If the engine’s running, the following message will be displayed: “Engine running. Turn OFF en
-
gine turn ignition ON (position II)”.

onwards,
the IIDTool will turn the engine off automatically.
•
The IIDTool will verify that the voltage is higher than 11.5 V. If not, the operation will be aborted.
• The message “Display will turn off XY seconds, keep key ON at all time, <+>” will be displayed.

Pressing any button will start the CCF write.
During this phase, do not turn off ignition or
disconnect the IIDTool.
•
All pre-2010 and L359 up to 2012 vehicles
: Once the display turns ON again, you will be
asked to turn the ignition OFF and back ON (position II), once done, press the button.
All 2010+ and L359 2013+ vehicles
: Once the display turns ON again, the “Clearing Fault” and
“Upload Success” messages will appear. Turn OFF the ignition for at least one minute.
• The “Clearing Fault” and “Upload Success” messages will appear,

press the button to quit.
•
All 2010+ and L359 2013+ vehicles
: Turn ON the ignition for 30 seconds then start the engine.
If error messages are still present, use the Clear All function of the IIDTool.
Notes :
During or after a configuration programming you may experience one or more of the following:
• It is normal to see warning lights appear on the display.
• Writing the CCF will disable the one touch window operation. To enable the one touch operation,
