Step 3: Updating your IIDTool with the custom remap, EGR blank or other

Once BAS Remaps confirms that a personalised file is ready, simply proceed with the following:

Connect the IIDTool on your computer and start the updater software.

Click on “Find Device” and wait until the updater software finds the IIDTool.

3. Click on “Program Flash File Only” and wait until the update is completed.

Step 4: In the vehicle

Simply navigate to IIDTool Menu-

ECU Flash and select the correct file. Make sure to follow the gene

ral re-flashing precautions.

Notes:

•

This will not affect the re-flash counter which limits how many times an engine ECU can be

updated.

•

In some instances, the process may require two consecutive Engine ECU Re-Flash. The first
one would be to update the ECU to the latest firmware while the second one would be the modi

fied version. Bell Auto Services will provide additional details if needed.
