Activating further paid display licenses
After purchasing further display licenses, you will get a license key.
Importing the file into the web application activates the purchased licence(s).
How to import a display license:
1. In the web application, click on
Configuration > Updates and Backup
2. Under
Software updates
, click on
Update software from...
and import the display
license via the file dialogue. The update process starts automatically and the Per-
sonalWorkplace-Controller is restarted.
3. Under
Configuration > Display Arrangement
, you can view all added and available
diplay licenses.
ADVICE:
By purchasing additional
display licenses
(article number:
A8200053
),
you can expand the pixel grid in
default mode (legacy mode)
by another
8 MP
or con-
nect an additional output monitor in
dynamic mode
or use an additional virtual out-
put.
NOTE:
The maximum available pixel grid in
default mode (legacy mode)
is
8192×4096
and
8192 × 8192
in
dynamic mode
.
NOTE:
The file name of the license key is composed of the serial number of your
PersonalWorkplace-Controller and the 2 MP display licenses available in
default
mode (legacy mode)
.
NOTE:
After activating the license key,
4 additional display licenses
(1 × 8 MP, 2 × 4
MP or 4 × 2 MP) are available in
default mode (legacy mode)
for each additional
license.
In
dynamic mode
, you can now use
one additional output monitor or virtual output
for
each additional license.
