Graphical User Interface (GUI)
5.1 Opening the Program
This discussion assumes that the analyzer has been connected to the
personal computer. A detailed discussion of the protocol to connect the
two units is presented in Section 3.4.
The graphical user interface is a Windows-based application program which provides the
analytical results and allows the operator to set a broad range of instrumental parameters.
When the program is first opened, the window shown in Figure 5-1 is presented.
