The settings menu
Via the settings menu you can change various settings relating to the Birth Alarm Advanced receiver
itself. To access the settings menu, click on the toothed wheel in the top right-hand corner of the
screen.
9.1
Display brightness
To adjust the brightness of the screen, proceed as follows:
•
Click on the "Brightness" button.
•
You will now see a pop-up window with a red dot.
•
When you slide it from left to right it can make the screen more or less bright.
•
If you are satisfied, click on "OK".
A screen with lower brightness saves on battery power, but is especially useful if you have
the Birth Alarm Advanced receiver on your bedside table. You can adjust the brightness
between 10% and 100%.
9.1.1 Automatic brightness adjustment
The Birth Alarm Advanced receiver is equipped with a light sensor, allowing it to automatically adjust
the brightness of the screen according to the ambient light. For example, if you turn off the light in
the evening, the Birth Alarm Advanced receiver will automatically reduce the brightness of the
screen. In the morning when it becomes light again, the screen will become brighter again.
To activate or deactivate the automatic brightness control, proceed as follows:
•
Click on the "Brightness" button.
•
You will now see a pop-up window with a red dot.
•
To the right of the slider you will find a sun symbol with an "A" in it.
•
If you click on it, the symbol will turn red and the automatic control is enabled.
•
If you are satisfied, click on "OK".
