OPERATION

MACHINE OPERATIONS AND CONTROLS

STOPPING THE ENGINE

NOTICE
If the engine is stopped abruptly, service life of component parts of the engine may be considerably reduced. Hence do not stop
the engine abruptly except in an emergency. If the engine has overheated, do not try to stop it abruptly but run it at medium speed
to allow it to cool down gradually, and then stop it.

1. Run the engine at low idle for about 5 minutes to cool down

gradually.

2. Turn the key of starting switch (1) to the OFF position to stop

the engine.

3. Remove the key from starting switch (1).

CHECK AFTER SHUT OFF ENGINE

1. Walk around the machine and check the work equipment, machine exterior, and undercarriage, also check for

any leakage of oil or coolant. If any problems are found, repair them.

2. Check the engine compartment for paper and debris. Clean out any paper and debris to avoid a fire hazard.
3. Remove any mud affixed to the undercarriage.
