Service programs
Cleaning
Duration: approx. 5 minutes
Clean the brewing unit before the start of the service
program.

1.
Rotate function selector to

2.
Select "Cleaning program" using the rotary selector.
3.
Touch the
™
symbol.
The cleaning program starts. The notes on the display
guide you through the program.
4.
Clean and re-insert the beverage outlet, empty, clean
and re-insert the drip tray with drain filter and coffee
residue container.
5.
Place a cleaning tablet into the ground coffee drawer
and close the drawer again.
6.
Close the door.
7.
Touch the
I
symbol.
The program will run for approx. 5 minutes.
8.
Touch the
™
symbol.
The cleaning program is complete.
Descaling
Duration: approx. 21 minutes
1.
Rotate function selector to
S
.
2.
Select "Descaling program" using the rotary selector.
3.
Touch the
™
symbol.
The descaling program starts. The notes on the
display guide you through the program.
4.
Clean and re-insert the beverage outlet, empty, clean
and re-insert the drip tray with drain filter and coffee
residue container.
5.
Remove the water filter (if there is one) and touch
the
™
symbol.
6.
Pour lukewarm water into the empty water tank up to
the "calc" mark (17 oz/0.5 l) and then dissolve a
descaling tablet in it.
7.
Remove the milk tube from the milk container, wipe it
down and insert the end of the milk tube into the hole
on the coffee residue container.
8.
Close the door.
9.
Touch the
I
symbol.
The program will run for approx. 19 minutes.
Note:
If there is too little descaling solution in the
water tank, the message "Fill water tank with water
and descaler" appears. Fill the empty water tank with
lukewarm water up to the "calc" mark (17 oz/0.5 l) and
then dissolve a descaling tablet in it. Press
™
to
confirm. The program will continue.
10.
When requested to do so by the message on the
display, rinse the water tank. If you are using a filter,
reinsert it now.
11.
Touch the
I
symbol.
The program will run for approx. 2 minutes and rinse
the appliance.
12.
Touch the
™
symbol.
The program has finished.
13.
Touch the
™
symbol.
The appliance is ready to use.
