       Cleaning and maintenance

Microfibre cloth

The honeycomb microfibre cloth is particularly suitable
for cleaning sensitive surfaces such as glass, glass
ceramic, stainless steel or aluminium (part number
00460770 from our after-sales service or from our
online shop). It removes liquid and greasy deposits in
one go.

Strainer filter

You can clean the strainer filter in the cooking
compartment floor as necessary. When cooking fish or
meat, we recommend cleaning the appliance after each
use.

1

Turn the strainer filter anticlockwise and remove it.

2

Remove any food remnants from the strainer filter.

3

Rinse it out under running water. If it is very dirty,
wash it in the dishwasher.

4

Insert the strainer filter and turn it clockwise as far
as it will go.

Never operate the combi-steam oven without the strainer
filter in place.

Cleaning programme

The cleaning program removes stubborn dirt.A cleaning
cartridge

(a)

is screwed into the top of the cooking

compartment. The cooking compartment is cleaned,
rinsed and dried fully automatically. The strainer
filter

(b)

must remain inserted in the cooking

compartment floor while the cleaning program is in
progress.

Depending on which version of the appliance you have,
the complete cleaning program takes either 3 hours
20 minutes or 3 hours 45 minutes.

With normal use, we recommend cleaning the appliance
with the cleaning program four times a year. Depending
on how you use your appliance, more frequent cleaning
may be required.

If there are a lot of food remnants on the panels of the
cooking compartment, do not allow them to burn on.
Start the cleaning program as soon as the appliance has
cooled to 40 °C.

You need special cleaning cartridges for the cleaning
program. These are available from the after-sales
service or from our online shop (CL S10 040, set with
four cleaning cartridges, order number 00311703).

The cleaning cartridges can only be used once and
cannot be refilled. Do not use any other cleaning
products.

Caution!
Risk of damage to the cooking compartment

Use cleaning cartridges for the cleaning program
only.Never place cleaning cartridges in the cooking
compartment when it is hot or heat them up in the
cooking compartment.

Notes

The cleaning program cannot be started until the
appliance has cooled down to below 40 °C.

Remove all accessories from the cooking
compartment before you start the cleaning program
(wire rack, cooking containers, core temperature
probe).

Remove the worst of the food remnants from the
cooking compartment.
