4.4 Seats and Storage Devices

4.4.1

Headrest

Adjusting the headrests properly is of great

importance to protect the driver and passengers

and reduce the risk of injury.

All the drivers and passengers must adjust

their headrests to correct positions (as shown in

the figure ) according to their own body types.

Warning

To reduce the risk of injuries and deaths

during accidents, be sure to observe the following

matters:

•

While driving, do not adjust the headrests.

•

The headrests must always be in their

mounting positions. Driving with the headrests

removed or improperly installed can cause

serious injury during a crash.

Adjusting Front Seat Headrests

– Lower: Press and hold the locking button

and lower the headrest to the desired position.

– Raise: Directly raise the headrest to the

desired position.

Hint

The other headrests are adjusted in the same

way.
