Working notes
Perform the following checks regularly before commissioning and during operation:
•
Always hold the device with both hands on the front and rear handle.
•
Is the device complete and correctly installed?
•
Make sure that all nuts and bolts are tightened.
•
Is the device in good and safe condition?
•
Are all safety functions in order?
•
Is the gas tank full?
•
Are the engine and muffler free of deposits, leaves or lubricants?
•
Is the handle clean and dry (no oil, grease or resin)?
•
Is the workplace free of obstacles that you could trip over?
•
Are you wearing the necessary protective device?
•
Have you read and understood the manual?
•
Are throttle levers smooth and throttle lock levers functional?
•
Is the ON/OFF switch functional?
•
Make sure that the gear device has sufficient lubrication (see "Maintenance").
•
IMPORTANT
: To avoid burning the leaf bag with the exhaust pipe, make sure to turn the whole
body when turning in the suction position and not only with your hands. Twisting the hip will
cause the heat of the exhaust to point towards the leaf bag, creating the risk of a burn hole.
•
Ensure that there are no foreign objects such as stones in the working area which could be
blown away or sucked up. This can cause serious injury to persons due to flying parts or
damage to the device when vacuuming.
