ACCU-FISH

, which requires a DFF series transducer or BBDS1, measures the size
and depth of individual fish and marks them with the ACCU-FISH
TM
icon.
ACCU-FISH
TM
operates both in the high frequency and low frequency modes.
Notes
The fish size (fish length) value is shown is for reference purposes. The actual size
may be different.
Reflection intensity varies depending on the type of fish. If the displayed size is
different from the fish you actually caught, apply an offset (see page 3-20).
When the ACCU-FISH
TM
function is active, the high and low frequencies are
alternately transmitted even in the single frequency display mode.
A fish whose depth is shallower than 2 m or greater than 100 m cannot be detected.
This function cannot be used with a transducer installed inside the hull since a fish
may not be detected depending on the transducer's frequency. Even if a fish is
detected, the fish size indicated may be smaller than actual size.
In a school of fish, echoes overlap one another, so the margin of error in fish size
will be greater.
The sea bottom must be present on the screen to show the fish symbols.
3.15.1 How to activate and set up ACCU-FISH

Touch control:
1.
Press the
MENU/ESC
key to open [MENU].
2.
Tap [DISPLAY].
3.
Tap [ACCU-FISH].
4.
Tap [ACCU-FISH] in the lower level.
The [Off]/[On] selection box appears.
5.
Tap [Off] or [On].
6.
Tap [Fish Info].
The [Off]/[Fish Size]/[Water Depth] selection box appears.
7.
Tap [Off], [Fish Size] or [Water Depth].
8.
Tap [Info Size].
The [Small]/[Large] selection box appears.
9.
Tap [Small] or [Large].
10. Tap [Fish Symbols].
The [Off]/[Striped]/[Solid]/[Circle]/[Square] selection box appears.
11. Tap [Off], [Striped], [Solid], [Circle] or [Square].
12. Tap [Symbols Area].
The [Dual]/[HF]/[LF] selection box appears.
13. Tap [Dual], [HF] or [LF].
14. Tap [x] on the title bar to close [MENU].
