How to set the mid protrusion mark

When [2 Middle Key Setting] (located in the [9 Installation Setting] 

→

 [4 Hull Unit Setting] menu) is set to [Fixed Position], you can 

change the middle point for transducer projection.

1. Use the trackball to place the cursor on the Transducer Posi-

tion Mark.

2. Left-click to show the settings pop-up window.
3. Left-click the 

S

 or 

T

 button to change the setting.

The indication on the [Transducer Position Mark] also moves 
as you change the setting.

4. Left-click [Quit] to complete the setup and close the pop-up.

Screen Brilliance and Panel Dimmer

1.5.1

How to adjust the screen brilliance

If your monitor is one of those listed as compatible on page xvi and the monitor is con-
nected to the control unit via USB, you can adjust the screen brilliance from the control 
unit. Turn the 

BRILL

 knob clockwise to increase, or counter-clockwise to decrease, 

the brilliance.

Note: 

If your monitor is not listed on page xvi, brilliance cannot be adjusted from the 

control unit. Adjust the brilliance at the monitor.

How to adjust the panel dimmer

You can change the brightness of the panel and keys with the following procedure.

1. Press the 

MENU/ESC

 key to open the menu.

This step is abbreviated to “Open the menu” in this manual.

Note: 

You can also open the menu from the right-click pop-up menu. See "Oper-

ation from the right-click pop-up menu" on page 1-16.
