How to reject clutter for external echo sounders where "Exter-
nal Fish Finder Window" is set to "Off" at installation
1. Click the [Advanced Settings] icon (
) from the InstantAccess bar™, then click
the [Advanced Settings] icon (
) to show the [Advanced Settings] window.
2. Click the [Sounder] item from the [External Echo Sounder] menu, on the left-side
of the window. The external fish finder settings are shown on the right-side of the
window.
3. Click the [Clutter] setting. The drop-down options box appears at the far right-side
of the window.
4. Click the drop-down box, then select the appropriate noise reduction level. A high
value setting reduces more noise, but can also remove weak echoes (small tar-
gets).
5. Select [Apply] to save the current changes and change or adjust other settings.
Select [OK] to save the current changes and close the menu window.
Select [Cancel] to abort all changes and close the menu window.

1. Place the cursor inside the external fish finder screen, then right-click. The [Exter-
nal Echo Sounder] menu appears.
2. The [Sounder] menu is already selected.
3. Select the [Clutter] setting. The drop-down options box appears at the far right-
