Stabilization menu

You can adjust for heave on the external fish finder from the [Stabilization] menu. This 
function requires connection to a Satellite Compass

™

 and becomes inactive if data 

from the Satellite Compass

™

 is interrupted or lost.

Menu item

Description

[Stabilization]

Turns heaving compensation on or off. To get stable seabed 
echoes regardless of sea conditions, turn [Stabilization] on when 
seas are rough.

[Stabilization 
Sensor]

Set at installation. Indicates the Satellite Compass

™

 connected to 

the FCV-38. Do not change this setting.

[Delay Time]

Set at installation. Available only when [Stabilization Sensor] is set 
to [Manual]. Do not change this setting.

[TD fore-aft], 
[TD port-stbd], 
[ANT TD height]

Set at installation. Indicates the location and height of the Satellite 
Compass antenna. Do not change these settings.
