4. Select a waypoint from the list, then press the CANCEL key.
The confirmation message appears.
5. Select [RUN] and press the left button to delete the waypoint.
6. Press the right button to close the waypoints list.
5.4.4 How to search for a waypoint
Sort the waypoints list
1. Open the [MAIN MENU].
2. Select [ROUTES/WAYPOINTS], then press the
left button .
3. Select [WAYPOINTS LIST], then press the left button .
4. Select [SORT], then press the left button .
5. Select a sort method among alphabet, range, mark shape and register order.
1) ALPHA. ORD: sorts the waypoints in alphanumerical order.
2) RNG ORDER: sorts the waypoints by range from own ship.
3) MARK SHAPE: sorts the waypoints in the following priority order: MOB
o
INT.BAN
o
mark shape order shown in the [EDIT WAYPOINT NAME] win-
dow.
4) REG. ORDER: sorts the waypoint according to the time and date witch they
were entered.
6. Close the menu.
Enter a waypoint name
1. Open the [MAIN MENU].
2. Select [ROUTES/WAYPOINTS], then press the
left button .
3. Select [WAYPOINTS LIST], then press the left button .
4. Select [SEARCH], then press the left button .
5. Enter the first few characters of the you want to serch for, name of the waypoint
with top several characters, then select [RUN] and press the left button .
The waypoints which match your search appear at the top of the list. If a MOB
mark exists, the search results appear immediately below the MOB mark.
6. Press the right button to close the waypoints list.
5.4.5 How to set the ship’s speed to calculate the arriving time
The time to go (TTG) to a waypoint is calculated based on own ship speed and re-
quires speed data input. You can set the speed automatically or manually.
1. Open the [MAIN MENU].
2. Select [ROUTES/WAYPOINTS], then press the
left button .
3. Select [WAYPOINTS LIST], then press the left button .
4. Select [SPD FOR TTG CALC], then press the left button .
5. Select [T.SHIP SPEED] to use the same data as used to calculate SOG, or [EXT
VALUE] to manually input the ship speed. If you selected [T.SHIP SPEED], go to
step 7.
