The ComPoint in the AC Mode

Configuration: Interface

Here, you can configure the LAN parameters of the ComPoint.

•

IP Address Mode
If you want to assign static IP settings to the ComPoint, enable

Static

and enter the values manually. If the ComPoint is supposed to obtain
the IP settings automatically from an existing DHCP server, enable

DHCP

. If no DHCP server is found in the network, the ComPoint will

take over the statically set values.

•

IP Address
Enter the IPv4 address intended for the ComPoint.
Example:
192.168.15.47

•

Subnet Mask
Enter the subnet mask of your LAN.

•

Gateway
Enter the IPv4 address for your gateway. All IP packets which do not
belong to your IP network will be sent to this address and will be for-
warded from there.

•

Node name
Name of the ComPoint AC. Serves for easy identification via the
artem ComPoint Manager. In the state as delivered, the node name
consists of „node_“ and the MAC address of the ComPoint.
